In an interview with the Sporting News, Ron Artest admits to drinking alcohol at halftime of games during his time with the Chicago Bulls.

"I used to drink Hennessy … at halftime," Artest says in the interview. "I (kept it) in my locker. I'd just walk to the liquor store (near the stadium) and get it."

Five years later, Artest still is interested in fighting Ben Wallace.

"I see Ben, I'm on my guard now. I'm always in the mood to fight him. … I'll get suspended 10 games, 15 games (because) I'll just fight him right there. It won't go into the stands."

Artest also plans on becoming a professional boxer when his NBA career is over.

"I started training two years ago," he says. "In four years, I'm going to try to have my first fight."
Ron Artest is a moron lol.
He seemed pretty scared of him at the time of the brawl lol, but that's just my opinion.

I do think Wallace would win too. Wallace is probably the strongest player in the league. And Artest is all talk, he didn't even beat up any of the fans. He looked like he couldn't even fight well.

I love Artest, but Wallace is a beast. I honestly think he could take anyone in the NBA in a street style fist fight.

lol exactly
Anyone who complains about him are the ones that are just biting hard. It's so easy to ignore yet they go after him anyway just because he's Ron Artest.

People talk about this as if they are suprised by the comments that Artest has made, lol. I think it would actually be a close fight if Artest and Wallace would get in a ring. Would you pay to watch them fight? lol

Let's see, if Artest has actually been training than he stands a good chance. You'd be amazed how sh/tty an untrained guy looks against someone with even a small amount.

LMFAO. Ben Wallace is the <Censored>ing man.

Ben Wallace was asked about comments made by Ron Artest this week referencing his drinking and his desire to still fight him.

"He said he wants to fight me?" Wallace asked reporters before the Pistons-Bulls game.

"Yeah," a reporter responded.

"Well, [you] need to test him and see if he's still drinking," Wallace said.

I've met Artest in person and he's not THAT big. Wallace looks A LOT stronger.

This is what I was going to say. He said he has been training for two years. Even if that is extremely sh*tty training (When considering the type of money he makes, I highly doubt) he is still going to know a thing or two. I'll bet money on the guy that is trained better over power.
