I was against it, warmed up to it, and now accept the fact that we're not getting him... I listened to a few good arguments against it and realize I was right from the start. Sure, we don't have our pick, but why bring in someone who won't be here for the long run? LeBron won't want to play with a washed up ball hog AI... And AI would stunt the growth of Gallo (if anyone could stunt the growth of Gallo, it's AI), DLee, Wilson Chandler, etc..

I just remember hearing stories about when AI was in Denver and how he went out till 5 in the morning on nights before game nights, and how Melo and JR Smith followed right behind him.

And now look were the Nuggets are after they traded him.

I mean when the Knicks were here late last month they partied till 4, the night before the game, so we already have it bad enough when it comes to discipline, AI would have only hurt us more.

I cant help but feel sad. I like worshipped AI when he was here. But to some degree he brought it on himself.

I use to like him when he was on Philly early in his career. Then he started messing up bad too the point it affected him on the court.

He'll be back. I can't see this as the end of one of the greatest scorers in the NBA history's career. He could still be a great scorer given the right situation. He needs to be the go-to-guy on a team, so there aren't that many options out there. It's also unlikely that a team with a lot of young talent is going to sign him, so the options become even smaller.

I love that little "Favorite Allen Iverson Moment" thing on the bottom of NBA Shootaround. While they were all talking about their moments, the fans submitted theres to the bottom of the screen. Of course the practice, the MJ, and the walking over Lue showed up. But this made me LMAO

George: F, Texas - When he announced his retirement.

my Fav AI moment?

hmmmmmm

i got to think. I was never really a fan fan. he was whatever to me.

Practice is a cop out, but thats my fav soundbite ever. "How the hell do I make my teammates better by practice?"

on the court i think it's when he broke Antonio Daniels ankles.

I can't help but feel like detroit killed his career. Like bks said he will be back

But my fav ai moment was when he stepped over tyron lue after draining the jumper on him.

Yeah his role changed forever once he went there. It was bound to happen at some point in his career though

That move was just disrespectful

Unretired according to ESPN.

Let's hope it isn't another case like you know who...
