Yeah he never will be a premiere power forward because of his size, but he def' has the skills to match his constant pedal to the metal type of play. Love a guy like Blair, he actually plays like he loves the game.
i know you watched last night

dont you just love Craig Smith?
guys like Smith, Landry, Millsap always kill the Lakers. I know Blair will too

I'd love to get one of these "nasty" "gritty" bigs

Blair, Powe, Smith, Landry, Millsap, Bass, and all of those undersized gritty PFs.

I'd love to have any of them. They lack size, but have heart and work ethic. Something that most guys that do have the physical tools don't have.

Like I always say at work because I'm constantly <Censored> @ the guys in my office, "I don't give a <Censored> if you look the part, if that bum on the corner can do your job better than you can I'm hiring the bum and firing your ass!!!"

Luckily the Lakers don't need a Carl Landry, or Dejuan Blair.. actually if I were to replace one more player on the squad, It'd probably be Josh Powell. He's an undersized PF, but doesn't have that grit or nastiness...

Magic remind of the Suns, Mavs, Kings, etc.

regular season gunners.
last year's Finals appearance wasn't a fluke fluke, but it was

kinda like the Cavs too

Watching the Clippers/Suns game, Blake Griffin's talking about how Marcus Camby's the one he looks most to when learning how to play defensively... He should look more to Kaman because other than his blocks and occasional steals, Camby's really not a good defender despite his DPOY awards and ish.

Camby's all weak side

and cheato, quit hating on Artest.
you're the same dude who would be saying "the lakers should have at least tinkered a little bit with the line-up especially with the cavs, celtics, magic, spurs all improving. they could have gotten artest instead of ariza for the same amount and they passed that up? stupid lakers"

Ariza is 24 years old.. There was no reason to get rid of him when he was the Lakers best defender and showed great shooting touch in the post-season.

Can't wait 'till Griffin comes back. W/out him the Clippers stuck right there with the Lakers, and right now they're sticking it to the Suns, a team that's supposed to be another one of those dark horse picks to make the playoffs this year.

If the Lakers wanted a guy to play shut down D and hit open shots, why would they replace Ariza with Artest? lol

Well, you said Artest got a bunch of open looks.. He missed most, why the hell would you want Artest taking all these jumpers?

Ariza is a better defender now anyway.. More athletic and more versatile defensively, and he is definitely a better fit with Kobe.

like kobe said, he's not used to being that wide open. those will fall soon lol

artest and trevor both have their pluses and minuses.
artest can make his own shot, ariza cant do that for <Censored>

defensively artest is kinda slow and kobe is still gonna have to guard the quicker 2's and 3's, but the Magic, Celtics, Cavs and Spurs dont really have that :p
artest can still get the bigger ones

The game was a complete and utter joke. Nets did what they always do and go on 4 minute long scoreless streaks which is whe T'Wolves recovered from a 15 point defecit. Brook had 30 and 14 and Yi played well. DH made plays all game, but Frank has got to go.

BS!!! I'm a huge advocate of the refs letting the players play, but those were two huge bs non-calls on Eric Gordon at the end of the game. First Gordon gets tackled by Nash, no call, so they have to waste a timeout to avoid the 5-second inbounds call. End of the game, Eric Gordon gets swallowed alive by Stoudemire and still a no call. Talk about giving the fcking game away.
