Minnesota wore their ugly as <Censored> 3rd jerseys today
I actually like the feel of those jersies. I'd rock one if Gaborik was still on the teamMinnesota wore their ugly as <Censored> 3rd jerseys today
Jackets are still a young team. Wait a few years and your team will come around. The Jackets back up goalie is terrible.. Just gave up a 4-1 lead.
Then the refs call back to back elbowing penalties on the Jackets in the final 3 minutes when down 1..
Oh, I'm not really concerned or think they're bad. They've been playing really good, back up goalie killed them the other day.Jackets are still a young team. Wait a few years and your team will come around.
But that's all they've got is Rick Nash, I know they have a lot of good young players but they're still not superstar status yet. And this is only Mason's second year, I had a feeling he might struggle this year, with all the expectations. Why not? Rick Nash is one of the leagues top players, and Mason was possibly the best goalie last year and he's extremely young... All you need is goaltending and occasional scoring and you're fine... And they've been scoring a lot. Just wait until Nikita Filatov (my boy) gets hot...
Actually, you also need great defence to be a great NHL team. Why not? Rick Nash is one of the leagues top players, and Mason was possibly the best goalie last year and he's extremely young... I wouldn't say great, just above average. You can get defensive forwards to make up for itActually, you also need great defence to be a great NHL team.
Actually the Jackets have that, Mike Commodore as their defensive defenseman and Kris Russell as their offensive defensemanBut I'm saying that you need at least a solid defence in front of your goalie. A goalie can't do the job single handedly. Plus I'm not only saying that you need a good defensive defenceman, you also need a good offensive defenseman to qb the powerplay.
Yes, but you're talking hypothetically/ideally... I'm talking about what already happened last year, without much of a defense, they still were towards the top of the league in GAA.But I'm saying that you need at least a solid defence in front of your goalie. A goalie can't do the job single handedly. Plus I'm not only saying that you need a good defensive defenceman, you also need a good offensive defenseman to qb the powerplay.
