Acie Law is 6-foot-3. He is a point guard. But as the Warriors currently have five point guards under contract, coach Don Nelson is pulling an unconventional move with Law: he's putting him at small forward, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

"He's a natural there. He's just small," Nelson said. "But I think that's about the only spot I have unless there's an injury or something."

Clearly, Nelson values Law enough that he wants him on the court, even if it's in an unlikely position.

I don't see why it matters what position anybody plays... As long as they are in spots on the court that suit their strengths, why does it matter? Acie Law is a good shooter, why not put him on the perimeter and let him knock down shots...

Yea, if he can cover taller SFs, then it would be fine.. But the Warriors dont even play defense anyway so it doesn't matter.

He probably wouldn't have to actually guard SF if he's in the game with Azubuike, Jackson or Marrow at SG, cuz they would just slide up and guard the SF. If there running a lineup out there with Steph Curry, Monta Ellis and Acie Law...well then they might have some defensive issues.

The warriors are so terrible.
Just like the Knicks about the fast break.
They really need Nelson to retire after the season.
Trade Stephen Jackson, Trade Monte Ellis, Trade everyone but the youth.

I'd rather see a roster like this:
PG - Stephen Curry/Acie Law
SG - Anthony Morrow
SF - Anthony Randolph
PF - Brandan Wright
C - Andreis Beindrins

Get picks and expiring contracts and rebuild. Chris Mullin was ass. Larry Riley is horrid too if he doesnt try to fix things.
