Its <Censored>ing Week 4. Chill out...... Division winners arent made in Week 4. Didnt the Bills start 4-0 last year? Oh yea they ended up 7-9. Lets wait and see what happens before we start bragging about teams, lol.

Again, I'm not bragging and like I said in the original post, I know it's early... I'm just saying that Cutler has shown he can be a good QB with Marshall and Royal, that's it. I didn't say we were winning the Super Bowl or going 15-1, I just said, so far, Cutler has proven he can get the job done (as shown in the 2 game winning drives he led the team on).

I'm flattered so many are chomping at the bit to prove me wrong this NFL season.

I'll keep this thread in mind come post-season.

I've long outgrown grudges...especially on the world wide web.

I'll sit back and let Jared Allen do all the talking for me.

You wouldn't have to be proven wrong if you didn't say such idiotic things such as Chicago is "terrible", Minnesota is the <Censored>.

opinions..to each his own..his was chicago is terrible...
And that's fine, but how can Chicago be terrible and Minnesota be great, if Chicago finished 1 game behind the Vikings and both did nothing in the off-season to really improve that much more than the other (they both got QB's, it's a wash). Chicago is 2-1, Minnesota is 3-0, still only 1 game back. I don't care if he says Chicago is terrible, just don't say Minnesota is great after that, because if we're terrible, Minnesota is a notch above terrible.

You should take your own advise.
You should stay out of it.

BKS is just hell bent on the fact that I trashed the Bears in my preseason predicts. I look at the Bears the same way I do the Cubs, no matter what they add or spend or how much hype surrounds them...somethings never change.

Whether its 1 game or 10, the Vikings were 1 and the Bears 2.

ill lend my 2 cents.

I have to agree with AE. The Bears are by no means a contender in that division. His receivers are mediocre at best, and he's right, the guys are just open because of blown coverage.

In my mind, the Seahawks wont even be contenders this year. The Steelers are struggling without Polamalu, but it's basically them getting used to having that big gap in the secondary. The Bears lost to the Packers, whose defense is unstoppable right now and will easily shut the Bears receivers down once again this year, you can quote me, save that quote on a word file and bring it up later in the season, because it will come true, mark my word.

You gotta take down the Vikings and Packers defenses first. So far your 0-1 with 3 opportunities left, so you better prove me wrong if you wanna defend your position.

But my point is this... Cutler had great receivers in Denver, no doubt about that. And he made a rookie WR into a deep threat despite already having a great WR in Marshall. He was forced to throw the ball because they had countless injuries to RBs, and their defense was atrocious last season, so he carried the weight. Cutler is a great QB but UNTIL he can prove it, against a division rival, few on SI or anywhere will side with you. Your team still finished 2nd in the division last season. They still have to prove it because they are already losing that reliability after the Packers picked Cutler off how many times? Yeah, i thought so.

Man, there's a lot of love in this thread... Got to love the NFL and what the fans do to make it partly what it is today...

I really just dont think those receivers are great, I feel like there's just been a lot of blown coverage that has led to their success. I need to see more though, to get an idea where those guys are at. It still worries me when I see that Hester is the top receiver.

Just here to point out that the Bears are getting raped by the Bengals.

How many picks does Cutler have today BKS?

....how the f*** is Greg Admin? How the f*** is Yanks trolling around again? I guess old AE leaves and suddenly the rules of SI go out the f*cking window. SMH, I will never...ever be back.

None of us wanted him to leave but I would like to know, outside of Yanks being back, which rules have gone out the window
