The Tigers are clinging to a two-game lead in the AL Central with a huge four-game series against the Twins starting Monday. Gonna be a lot of fun to end the season.

Tomorrow could pretty much clinch us the division if we win them both. Well not technically but pretty damn close, would need 1 more win I believe in our last 5 games.

Of all the days to have a game postponed it HAD to be now. lol.

If we split with the Twins, we will need to win 1 to 2 more games out of the last 3. Or, we win 1 of the last 3, and the Twins lose one we clinch. IN other words, A split with the Twins would be fine, winning the series would give us the division.

Tough loss for Detroit, hopefully they can win tonight's game. Minnesota is one scary team right now... The way I look at it is: IF Minnesota comes back and wins the division they've earned it and Detroit hasn't. I guess it'll depend on who wants it more... It would suck for Detroit to basically lead the division the entire year and lose it on the last week but we'll see.. I just don't see Detroit beating the Yankees anyway but you never know I guess, they can beat anybody when they play up to their potential.

Lyon with the two back to back wild pitches in the 10th really had me going. That`s unacceptable in a game of that stature, or really in any game for that matter. Very uncharacteristic of him. We`ve got JV for the 2nd game, which is in a few minutes, and we better win that one. Cant say i`m suprised by the Twins. I saw them do it to us in '06, so it`s not something new. I hope they dont do it again, because this time, we cant get the wildcard if we dont win the division. No matter what team wins the AL Central, I dont see either Twins or Tigers making it far in the playoffs.

Well if we lose today it's a tie for 1st with 2 games remaining against the Twins, and then 3 against then White Sux. And the Twins have to play the Royals after us.
