the Matthews trade to NE shocked me yesterday. Matthews was informed Saturday morning by the Giants he was going to be cut, but then the Patriots musta heard and contacted the Giants, and made a trade.

I hope this means Darcy Johnson and Kevin Boss improved a lot on blocking.

Now that teams have made their cuts, some teams are scooping up talent and parting with players who barely made the roster.

That said, sadly the NY Jets cut a few players today...in order to make room for add-ons. Danny Woodhead didn't make it fellas and oddly, he was cut in order to make room for P AJ Trapasso.
