Jets May Consider Marshall

Newsday - The Jets are thinking about making a play for Brandon Marshall, according to league sources.

Marshall was suspended by the Broncos last week for conduct detrimental to the team. He has expressed his desire for a new contract throughout the offseason. Denver is believed to want a first-round pick in any deal for Marshall.

they deff still want him, its whether the Broncos are gonna give or not. Jets aren't gonna offer much obviosuly.

Broncos are apparently monitoring the Jets, believing that the Jets may be "tampering" with Marshall since he is still suspended.

so much for mcdaniels saying the Broncos aren't in any trade talks with the Jets...

ABCNEWS - The Denver Broncos would want New York Jets linebacker David Harris in any trade scenario for wide receiver Brandon Marshall, two NFL sources tell ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Wednesday.

There is no indication that the Jets would surrender Harris, who was fifth on the Jets in tackles last season despite playing only 11 games due to groin surgery. He led the Jets in tackles the previous season.

Marshall has requested a trade from the Broncos, and new coach Josh McDaniels finally suspended him this week for conduct detrimental to the team.

..idk how i feel about this. we do have bart scott now, but David Harris has been big for us. it'll be interesting to see what the Jets do.

Clearly the Broncos would want a first round pick, and def. a defensive player since they had one of the worst defenses in the league last year. Every running attack killed them, so they would need a linebacker, which is what they are asking.

Jets fans, your gonna have to face the truth that it's not "i wouldn't wanna give him up" it's, "that's the guy. Either you trade and include this guy or nothing happens"
