I can see them getting maybe 2 or 3 wins out of that schedule

they are so screwed though
Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. As long as the Bengals aren't one of those wins for them. Anywhere from 2-4 sounds about right. Bet their really saying to themselves "why in the he!! did we get rid of Shanahan"

The Lions had a better team then 0-16 anyways. They had several close losses that could have been avoided but weren't.

This may get some odd glances but; The Lions' shouldn't have fired Rod Marinelli.

I didn't see his players on national television <Censored>ing about losing.

I could be wrong about this, but I just never saw it.

On the flip side, you have Phillips who can't control <Censored> in Dallas and he gets to keep his job, I know he gets wins, but holy god.

Shanahan has nothing to do with them having no talent. lol. Unless you're talkign about trading Cutler.

If they had Shannahan none of this would be going on. They'd still have Cutler and Marshall would be fine I'm sure - That is what I was trying to say.

So I do actually blame it on them for losing talent. The only reason they've lost good players is because of what happened with Shanahan. Everything would be just fine if he was still the head coach. I think a lot of players thought it was wrong for the Denver organization to get rid of him and I agree. Shanny is a great coach and nothing will ever change that.

well how would you feel if someone just walked in and was already talking about possibly replacing you?

Marshall's hurting himself more than anything, this act he showed at practice will scare a lot of teams away from him.

No, not in this day and age. Doesn't matter how you act, he's a 25 year old pro bowl stud. Not many teams would shy away from him, not just yet anyways.

I think hes just very disgruntled. I mean, I'm a great and nice guy but even when playing sports I tended to get frustrated when things weren't working out too well, and with his issues with the team and wanting that extension, then wanting the trade and not getting his name out there, he's just very frustrated.

Personally I think Denver is handling this all wrong. I hope the Giants at least try to trade for him because they need his talent, and yeah he appears to have a pretty big ego but everyone shows that kind of attitude and it always makes people think they act like that all the time.

I'm not supporting this, but really it's not that bad.
Your serious?

There's guys working their asses off in camp right now, everyday...and they won't have a job after this week b/c they just don't have enough ability. You've then got Marshall on the practice field, blatantly sabotaging drills and for what? To get his message across that he wants more millions? We get it Marshall, you don't have to spit it on the same drills those other guys are giving their all at, in order to get your point across.

I cannot wait until this dickhead is arrested again.

Me neither. Guy is one of my least favorite players in the league now.

It's a Vacation...

How are you gonna suspend someone the rest of the preseason WITH PAY?

Though he is still getting paid to sit home, it is keeping him out of the public spotlight...which kills ego maniacs like Marshall. At the same time, Marshall isnt going to get that big, new contract wants.

It will only be a matter of a week before he is on his knees in Pat Bowlan's office. You can see he is already making excuses.
