The Denver Broncos have suspended disgruntled wideout Brandon Marshall for "conduct detrimental to the team". The announcement came in a 15-word statement released by the team, a statement that did not indicate specifics or exactly how long the suspension will last.

AP said:
During Wednesday's warmups, Marshall walked while the rest of the team ran. He punted a ball away instead of handing it to a ball boy and swatted a pass thrown to him. His actions were caught on video and broadcast by KMGH-TV.

This guy is talented but his attitude is utter dogsh.. Denver is in a transition period right now and I actually support Pat Bowlan finally putting his foot down on players' horrid behavior. I think Denver ends up trading Marshall but not before they make him sit and watch from home first. -AE

I've always wondered how good guys like Will Smith, Charles Grant, Deuce Mcallister, including the two Williams DT's from the Vikes, could all be POSSIBLY facing 4 game suspensions yet this guy would be allowed to run free.

Wow, that is uncalled for. Just because he isn't going to get his way like Jay Cutler did he's going to show those kind of actions??? I just hate people that think "It's all about them" and not the team. Things are not looking good at all for Denver thus far this year.

Here's the thing, you guys can say you won't and will never do anything like this.. but if you were a star and wanted a new contract and or trade and it wasn't happening, you would be doing this too.

I'm not supporting this, but really it's not that bad.

man, it's gotta suck to be McDaniels right now, I would rather deal with TO and Pacman Jones than someone that does this

Could they be the Detroit Lions from a year ago???

It's looking rather comparable. Denver has the 19th toughest schedule this year which is so so.

Honestly, If I was to ever say get a 15 million contract - I don't think I'd be complaining too much. It's all about the money when they're all already getting over paid. Sure, football is one hell of a brutal sport to play but I still don't think they should be earning 22 mil for two years, that is redic.

But I can see where your coming from, from the player aspect but I still don't think I would ever do anything like that, that's just not me. I won't have to worry anyways because I'm pretty sure I'll be sitting on the couch watching NFL on Sunday's anyways.

Yea, I wouldn't show up either. But you got what I was saying. You never know how you'll act growing with the knowledge you'll be a star then a team won't pay you the way your agent says you should get payed.

It's his f-cking job. He signed the contract, so he needs to play for it no matter how good he is. If he signed a huge contract and was't playing up to it do you think the Broncos would be like fine don't throw him the ball, just ignore hi until he re-does his contract? This is so immature. It is THAT bad. Guy is a tool. I hope he breaks a finger swatting those balls down.

Well, hopefully Kyle Orton can throw it hard enough then. Just put Chris Simms as the starter. He wasn't bad when he played for Tampa, he got injured and that screwed up everything.
