The Magic don't still have a mismatch against the Cavaliers, really? As far as I know, Rashard Lewis is still the starting PF for the Magic, and Varejao is still the starting PF for the Cavaliers, which equals a mismatch. Also, if you think an older, out of shape Shaquille O'Neal is going to contain Dwight Howard, you're foolish. One is on his way up, the other on his way down. I'll let you decipher which is which.

The Magic caught a break? Sure, KG was out, but they didn't catch a break with the Cavaliers, they just flat out beat them in 6 games. FLAT. OUT. BEAT.
the mismatch was having to double on Dwight Howard, which left shooters like Lewis wide open, which we don't have to do anymore. You're the foolish one who knows absolutely nothing about the NBA.

And apparently you can't read either.

Whoever wrote this article has a very short memory, that's all I have to say. Plenty of great teams in the 80s and 90s not to win a title. And the Cavaliers shouldn't be #1...
Cavs no. 1 made me laugh

I think the Mavs 06-07 team against the 08-09 Cavs team would be a pretty interesting matchup.

Lol you're debating skills are so good. And what happens when Dwight goes for 30 and 10 on Shaq? Still no double teams? And I highly doubt Varejao would be able to check Lewis on the perimeter, where Lewis game gravitates around. If anyone knows nothing here, it's you. Open your damn eyes...

What happens when the Cavs run LeBron at PF, and the lineup is Mo, Delonte, Anthony Parker/Jamario Moon, LeBron and Shaq? Ever think that Varejao isn't going to play 48 minutes and the coaching staff realizes they need to put someone quicker on Lewis?

The only thing you know about in the NBA is the Magic.

And then the Cavaliers won't get abused by the matchup problem of having West and Parker guard Pietrus and Carter? And the Cavs also won't get abused on the boards with such a lineup? No one said Varejao would play 48 minutes, but he's the starting PF, he's going to get run.

The only thing you know about the NBA is... nothing. Thanks for playing...

I'm not going to bother looking up the stats, but if you want to you can, because Vince Carter hasn't had any success against West in his career.

Yea, we're going to get abused on rebounds... I forgot LeBron is terrible at rebounding and can't hold his own. And Lewis isn't going to be playing PF all game, you mix and match.

Again, you really don't know a thing outside of Orlando.

Alright... Kobe Bryant is 3-10 with JJ Redick guarding him... flukes happen. If LeBron is the PF, they will get ABUSED on the rebounds. LeBron is a great rebounder but he's not a big man who'll stay down low and box out, especially guarding against Orlando's spread offense. Shaquille O'Neal would get out worked by Dwight Howard... as Ilgauskas did.

Again, you know nothing... period.

I'm not talking about one game, Delonte has kept Carter in check multiple times, not to mention that comparison is horrible since Redick is terrible, and Delonte is a known good defender. LeBron would get his rebounds, with his recovery speed he wont have a problem running from the perimeter to grab a rebound. Ilgauskas is not a strong big man at all, even with his size he can get pushed around. Shaq is much more physical, and will actually be able to make the opposing centers work, as to where Ilgauskas only takes jumpers.
