They traded away the top catching prospect in Baseball for Casey Blake because of Martin, heh

cheato, so what
he cant catch otherwise he'd be up already
thats why we sent him there, so he can have more options like DH

and Baggs, Russell Martin sucks.
he's good behind the plate like blocking bad pitches, but he cant throw out a runner to save his life. cost us last nights game

Hes going to catch for the Indians lol. They already say he has a good enough arm, he just has to learn more on handling pitchers.

Who's fault is that lol

Anyway, Mauer would be perfect in Boston but I could honestly see him as one of those guys, the few ones, who would stay with the team that brought him up.

Wouldn't Mauer be perfect on any team? lol. But I hope he stays in Minnesota, even though it's a division rival.

but there is good news about Russ.
Torre FINALLY has him 8th!
We've only been begging for this since like the 2nd week of the season

Masterson having a nice game, 6 innings, no earned runs (1 un earned on a Shoppach passed ball). Only 2 hits given up as well.

Mets lose 3-2. It is just incredible the various ways that one team can lose. Looks like Reyes, Delgado, and Beltran will be back in 2 weeks. LMAO, riite.....

Ironically Church is gone and yet we commit the same fundamental mistakes. Well time to go back to Daytona Beach tonight, so I cant watch my lovely Mets on tv. Aww how sad......

Actually sadder is this god forsaken drive I have ahead of me....

Great win for Tigers. I`d be pissed if I were the Mariners. 4 homers, and had a 6-2 lead, only to have it collapse and lose 7-6, courtesy of Clete Thomas` walk-off single. We had one heck of a lucky break with Guillen running home and the ball getting away from johjima. Inge & Raburn with homers. Cabrera almost had a homer. Could`ve been 3 homers in the same inning.

I've definitely learned my lesson to never count them out even if they are losing by 10 with two innings left.
