chill out
anything can happen

no one cares how you do right now, it's how you do in October.
We will cruise right through the playoffs and smash whatever pitiful team comes out of the NL. We run this league and the tissues can be found in aisle 4 for anyone who wants to cry about us "buying championships".

The Yankees best hitter was signed in this past FA, and there two best pitchers, so in reality it is a bought championship if they win.

Yup, and they finished third last year, and now are in first this year so it pretty much is buying a championship. I see them choking in the playoffs anyway though.

Closeup angles of Cain showed him talking with catcher Brian Schneider while Wright was being examined on the field.

"He just asked how David was, asked if he was doing all right," Schneider said. "And I didn't have an answer for him."

"I've known Matt Cain for a long time," said Jeff Francoeur, who spoke briefly to Cain during the inning and also spoke with Wright before he was transported to the hospital. "Obviously, I'm sure that no one feels worse than he does."

Following the game, a serious and somber Cain told reporters it was nice to see Wright be able to walk off the field.

"Hopefully he'll be all right," Cain said. "I'll try to see if I can get a hold of him [Sunday] or see him on the field."
I just gained a lot more respect for Matt Cain.

Well even when a pitcher throws at the batter intentionally he doesn't want that player to get hurt that bad. What did you want him to say? It's a game, people get hit, it's a game you just gotta deal with it.

LOL, it is good to read he's sorry and feels bad, but I really don't expect anyone to say something other then this after they hit a batter, especially in the head.
