We need a sweep. No excuses losing to the Royals at home honestly.
But yeah 2 would be fine.
i totally agree except that greinke is pitching, although he's been human the last month or so.

Yeah, Detroit was able to get to him last time. At least enough for a win, so maybe we can do it again lol.

How are the Yankees going to limit Joba? And who are they going to put in the rotation?
Joba's next start will be skipped, we're basically going with a 6 man rotation of:

CC
AJ
Joba (will be skipped every now and then)
Andy
Mitre <_<
Gaudin

I don't think it matters how well Greinke pitches, I think it matters more how Washburn pitches.

Nah, you guys just suck.
How would we not contend?

Let's sign Bay in LF

Get Cabrera to upgrade at shortstop.

And another arm to the rotation.

That's two bats we need, and another veteran picture we need.

Agreed. Hopefully pitching in Detroit for the second time will make him more comformtable.

oh yeah, you guys have to look out for butler too. was the AL player of the week and has been a .340 hitter since the all-star game. But he's about it on our offense, other then Callaspo but all he does is single

FPS: Girardi has a personal vendetta with Hughes which is why he is still in the pen, I explained about it somewhere in here I think.

Rios: Bay will sign with us, he's not taking some hometown discount.

Yankees won't win the title again, so they will sign any FA possible seeing as that's the only way they can win.

I'm just saying, three big free agents, if we had the money, and we got the Cabrera, Bay, and a veteran arm in the rotation, than we can contend just like you that quickly. I'm sure if we signed C.C, Tex, and resign AJ, we would contend.

Because players want to flock to a team who rarely has a chance to finish better than 4th.

there's a reason people hate the Yankees and have 0 sympathy when they have injuries or aren't treated nice by the media.

It's because they buy there teams and when they do actually develop their own players they cream their pants like they are the next great thing. EX: Joba, Hughes

Yeah just like the Yankees who finish with about the same record as the Jays last year, and somehow rebuilded in a year.
