As the new United Football League begins to take shape, 19 more former NFL players have been added to head coach Jim Fassell's Las Vegas Roster. Most notably the UFL adds QB Tim Rattay, LB Teddy Lehman, WR David Kircus, and LB Brandon Moore.

The League has also announced a partnership with Mark Cuban's HDNet. Beginning in October, HDNet will broadcast several Saturday Night games.

Names, colors, and logos are set to be announced during a Monday-Thursday 4 city tour this week. On Monday, Las Vegas media outlets were already reporting that the Las Vegas franchise will go by "Locomotives". Other outlets have speculated the New York franchise is set to debut themselves as the "Sentinels". -AE

Introducing, the Las Vegas Locomotives:

eeewww!!! This looks like something Disney would create for some sort of movie about football. Not sure if you guys can tell but the team has no logo, just the UFL's logo on a gray helmet. Cant wait to catch glimpse of JP Losman running around wearing that thing.

The New York team will be named tomorrow.

I was actually watching Any Given Sunday on Versus tonight & was thinking about the way better job done on the uni's for that motion picture.

Introducing...the CALIFORNIA REDWOODS!!!

hmm....so far, both UFL teams announced have 'corny' nicknames, the same color scheme, the same uni design and no official helmets.

Well I'd say this league is off to a hell of a start.

I actually like those jersey's lol. But they look like they do indeed belong in a lower level league.

That was me.

I just really hate how every team is going to have some sort of gray, blue, green scheme & all uniforms look exactly the same. This league sounded like it has some potential at first...but I can't imagine ever running into somebody wearing a "California Redwoods" cap or jersey.

UPDATE: By far the best name thus far, the FLORIDA TUSKERS were announced by UFL Commish Michael Huyghue & head coach Jim Haslett. Again with the same design, same color scheme (this league must not like red) but 'Tuskers' is a bad ass name.

Not sure if you guys picked up on this yet but every team features the same green, blue, gray and black color scheme. Each team has one of the 4 as their primary color & jersey color...which is going to keep this league from having to go home & away uniforms. I am willing to bet that when the New York (Sentinels) team is announced tomorrow, their main color will be black.

I hope that this league allows teams to eventually adopt their own identities, logos and colors in the future. This Florida team has the potential to have one sick logo. I used to be in a unit that was nicknamed 'the Tuskers', which is why I love the name. Below is the unit I am talking about.

Last, but not least, the NEW YORK SENTINELS:

^ Judging from that last photo, maybe each team will feature an away uniform.
