meh, we're 41-65 about to go to 41-66, we're down 11-6 going to the 9th with the bullpen pretty worn out.

If I was the manager I'd say f it and give the fans some entertainment.

I think we can officially say after the sweep of the Red Sox, the Rays are trully in this race and are going to be for the rest of the season.

Back in the day when players had a problem with each other they would go to each others locker rooms and take it off the field. There were many instances where it happened, Ron Darling, a mets ex pitcher stated today an occurrence where a white sox player called him out after a game.

while Prince may have crossed the line I think it's rather stupid to plunk a guy in the bottom of the 9th in a 14 run game lol...you want revenge, get him the next time

Joba Chamberlain hit Evan Longoria, Rays did nothing but Garza said that it's not something they'll forget..meaning they'll get him back another time.

That's what could have been done. If I got hit in the bottom of the 9th during a 14 run game, I'd be pretty pissed too. At that point, it's really not necessary.

True that. He hit Mike Piazza twice in spring training games. And he took steroids I might add, lol.
Did Manny recruit him to the Dodgers? lol

Sizemore commits the cardinal sin, made the first out at first, would have been first and 2nd no outs.

I found this amazing website called fangraphs and it measures the effectiveness of every pitch and how effective the batter is against that specific pitch.

Superman is fallible after all. While only 2.6 percent of the pitches he sees are splitters, Pujols can’t hit them. For the last four years, he has been below average with them, and this year could be the worst: 4.89 runs below per 100 seen. Scouts have this one pegged: Only seven players have faced a higher percentage of splitters.

Tigers putting a beating on the O's early. 5-0 in the 3rd.

We called up a left handed catcher Alex Avila. So far Porcello is throwing a no-no through 3. And he has a double RBI. So he is hopefully earning his spot to stay here. Cause I'm sick of the lack of hitting with our catchers.
