Matt Cassel's not a weak quarterback, he did have a 76 yard TD.

DH34. Your outta your mind naming Calvin Johnson. Now Larry Fitzgerald maybe. But no one else you named.
How the heck is he out of his mind for naming Calvin? Calvin is an absolute monster. Look who he had throwing the football to him!!!

Fitzgerald? Boldin? The Johnsons? Reggie Wayne?

Fitzgerald had 1,431 yards.
Boldin had 1,038 yards, and missed 2 games.
CJ had 1,331 yards.
Andre had 1,575 yards.
Reggie had 1,145 yards.

Randy Moss had 1,008 yards.

No, but Moss is so much better
I just went off the top of my head lol

Really, that's how you're going to back it up? One pass? My best bet is that it was a little slant route to Welker then he broke for 76 yards. Anyone who saw the Patriots play knows that Cassel does not have anything close to a strong arm.

Too much money for Manning, but when you are in the Giants position what can you do? You HAVE to overpay for a QB that you already know can take you to the promised land. If people havent noticed there are numerous of NFL players who are overpaid and they arent the best at their position. We must also take into account a different perspective of the matter. The Giants will soon be opening their new stadium, do you think that they want a team without a good QB to lead them in the new stadium?

At the end of the day, the Giants did what they had to do to maintain our team competitive under the circumstances, you cant find really good QB's on the street who can play under the New York pressure. And Eli can do that.

As a die hard Giants fan, this makes me sick to my stomach! This kid can't play at home in November, December or during playoffs and they give him that type of deal? I guess winning a Super Bowl for a New York team means more then I thought.

The top 3 paid QBs in the league per year are Carson Palmer, Eli Manning and Ben Roethilsberger, and none of them are a top 3 QB in the league.

I think Palmer could have a shot at top 3 if he had any semblance of an o-line...but cheato's right
