Lee is the 2nd best pitcher in the NL behind Haren.

Bold prediction of 2010:

Jake Westbrook wins the Cy Young and is traded in 2011 because the MLB is a joke when it comes to salary.

Dodgers/Cards craziest game ever!!!!

Manny had a webgem catch
Kershaw and Piniero were killer(especially Kershaw)
Dodgers blow 2 saves
plays at the plate
Thurston missed 1st base right now and was called out after 2 appeals!!!!!

Shutting out team firesale is a big accomplishment.
12-2 record, 2.14 ERA for the best in the NL isn't a bad accomplishment

Scouting Report:
Giants: Barry Zito finished one out shy of notching his third straight quality start Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The veteran lefty allowed one earned run over 5 2/3 innings before giving way to the Giants 'pen. While his 4.54 ERA could come down a bit, Zito has also managed to get by while receiving zero runs of support in seven of his 21 starts this season. Zito didn't face the Phillies last season but holds a 2-1 record and 3.50 ERA against Philadelphia all-time.

That ERA should be about 2 runs lower considering how much he makes. Kind of sad that you have to get excited and point out an era above 4.5 :]

Verlander was AMAZING tonight!! 13 K`s, ties his career high. Was hoping he would get 14 to break it, but he will have other chances at it. It was nice to finish the series on a high note, but now we have a day off tomorrow :(

I didn't get excited. I'm just putting that out there that his W/L is overrated

BTW, Tim Wakefield O.O
