No the years before you were just over achieving lol.
lol how can you overachieve? You have to play at your best to be successful and that's what they did lol. So they were playing to their best talent I guess. You couldn't say you predicted a team with:

PG Calderon
SG Parker
SF Moon
PF Bosh
C Jermaine O'neal

to finish 14th place. And Bargnani played his best season this year too.

I didn't think that team would make the playoffs..

And I was joking about the over achieving thing, which you can do..

Well based off last season finishing 6th and adding the much needed big man to help with rebounding, don't you think this team would've made the playoffs?

Associated Press said:
The Toronto Star pegged the potential Raptors deal at $56 million over five years. The paper said the team would likely renounce the rights to Shawn Marion, Anthony Parker, Carlos Delfino in order to facilitate the signing.
I really dis-like this move for the Raps.

Damn, that sucks for both teams IMO. Raptors are are over paying him SO much and losing Marion and 2 role players. He will start to decline in like 2-3 years.

Hedo didn't go because of the extra money. He went to Toronto cause it felt more like home to him. He came here knowning Toronto will offer a bigger salary but he wanted to go to Portland because we're the better team, he tried to make himself comfortable with calling Portland home but in the end it just wasn't right for him. His wife loves Toronto and preferred to live there so that's where they went. Toronto has a much bigger Turkish community.

Where did you guys hear this ^ crap from? I'll you right now that if anybody is speculating this "Toronto feels more like home", they are full of it.

Money talks and right now, Hedo is out to get paid. Not that I am hating on him for it, I'd do the same, but I've been to both Portland & Toronto...I'd rather live in Portland.

But the reason's Hedo stated were actually true facts about Toronto, he gets money, goes to a multicultural city, and plays with two other multicultural players. (Calderon, and Bargnani)

Nah...if Portland offered him up about a couple million more, then we'd hear Hedo talk about being so excited to play in an unfamiliar city with so many different types of players.

I love it when athletes try to make it sound like its not all about the money.

Well wasn't he about to sign a contract with the Blazers? The Raptors deal was always on the table... and he went to tour Portland instead of Toronto.

Rios, he took the money. Nothing wrong with that, but what Hedo said is just an add in to try and look less greedy.

I'm also not quite sure Toronto was 100% a 'buyer' until they knew Hedo was touring Portland. Me personally...I'd rather utilize my resources towards keeping "The Matrix" in a Rap's uni.

It was on both ESPN and all the papers here in Portland. But I get what your saying.

I am no fan of Hedo...I feel like he is too 'streaky' of a player. The guy doesn't show up when it really counts.

This is why I didn't want him in Detroit, he shoots too much yes he is a good passer. But he is just too streaky like you said.
