Update: I've been informed that there is a 30 day waiting period when you sign a second-round pick before that player can be traded

Chandler is plan B for Detroit right now, but if they dont land their plan A it is a likely scenario that they send Kwame and Maxiell for Chandler.

The other thing holding up the trade is the NBA hasnt set its salary cap for next year yet, so Detroit is waiting on that to see exactly how much room they have left.

Bottom line is teams know Chandler will be there so they are exploring other options first. PHX is doing the same thing- trying to position to get guys like Odom. But if and when all those plans fall through and the FA crop is weak Chandler will be looked at seriously again because at the end of the day he is a top 6-10 center when healthy.

BTW, I don't need info from inside sources to know if the Hornets put Juju in that deal they would have to include ALOT more than just Maxiell and Brown. The Hornets look at Juju as the future #3, and CP's future running mate.
