Pistons fire Michael Curry

Yeah, I don't know much about the Pistons/NBA, but I have this feeling/hunch that we'll sign Avery. Like he seems like he'd gel in Detroit. Or, I might be completely off, either way.

I am sure we will have a new coach within the next few days. I honestly don't care who he brings in, everyone that is on the list of potential suitors are decent, better than curry.

Doug Collins is smart, and I think he'd be a better coach then Avery. Either way I'm happy and I'll be happy with any coach. Curry was total ass.

he isn't a good coach. what he took over was Don Nelson's team, he taught a team that was run n gun how to play a little bit of defense, that's all he does. He never has his point guards have full control, he was a former point guard and his problem is a control freak. He held back Devin Harris and look what happened whenever we traded him, and when we got Kidd, Avery still tried to call all the plays and tell Kidd what to run.

Not to mention he constantly gets outcoached. Where was he in the Golden State series when he continued to try and play with Dampier? Where was he went we were up 2-0 in the Finals and at the end of each game he calls the wrong play, or does the wrong defensive matchups.

Trust me, I saw Carlisle this year, and as a Mavs fan, ask any Mavs fans, you actually have a good coach in Carlisle. Avery is a control freak, and unless you like calling timeouts every time a team scores back to back baskets and does nothing to stop the other team, then Avery is a guy.

this isn't the same, Mike Brown is a good coach. its not they lost in the first round to a team that wasn't as good as them (aka Mavs/Warriors)
