The Grizzlies have been approached by several teams about acquiring the second overall pick. Boston, Houston and New York are said to be among the most recent suitors.

Boston and Houston would likely have to offer an established NBA player or two, given that neither team owns a first-round pick. New York owns the eighth pick and likely would want to move up for the opportunity to take Ricky Rubio.

Yeah, because Boston really needs the 2nd pick. They need to stop being greedy and deal with what they have, and stop trying to take away from other teams.

You can tell the future now Pugz?

I'd rather have an established player in Rondo.

Rubio will still go in and help them, plus in two years he'll be better then Rondo anyways.

But that's why the pick won't be dealt.

Your smoking im convinced. Rondo is one of the best pgs in the league. He is young and can only improve and has already proved he can play.

Like rip i see the potential. But Im not that sold that rubio is this super prospect.

lol I know. I just dont like Boston. I guess that part of me came out more than the overall perspective side. I guess it just depends on what they would be up for offering for the pick, if it happens. They do have people to offer though, as we know.

You put Rubio in the spot Rondo is and he'll play just as if not better. I'm not saying Rubio is better now, but putting him in that same spot Rondo is in and he could look just as good.

I've watched rubio play a lot and no he just isnt as good as rondo. The bulls series and the magic series proved that. Rondo averaged 16.9 PPG 9.6 APG and 9.7 RPG in the playoffs. Do you believe a rubio could drop those numbers in the playoffs? Rubio has a while to go before he can even be mentioned with rondo.
