TYO you know how Mark Jackson wants to be a coach and almost got the NYK job?

wow. just listening to him makes me feel like he'd be the worst coach in the NBA.

Begeezus what a terrible game by LA, Kobe was the only one that showed up.. My GF said it right when she pointed out that the Nuggets are like heatseeking missiles going after the ball. They're just so active and physical. Anthony had a huge game. Billups was at least defended well for the most part. Kenyon Martin has an ugly runner, but hey.. it works I guess. Nene played well, but like always got into foul trouble. Smith... I fear him when the series goes to Denver.

Fisher played terrible, but hit two big threes in this game. Ariza looked retarded on defense. Bynum... I just hope he gets his groove back.

As for Gasol... WHERE IS THE EFFORT?! That's all it <Censored>ing takes. We know what Gasol can do when he puts in the effort, but he just doesn't. I don't get it, it's not even the physical play, hes played through it before, and has played great. Gasol needs to be way more aggressive than he's being. He needs to understand that he needs to be the second option behind Kobe, not Odom, not Bynum, but Gasol. Gasol needs to get it going instead of trying to force it to Bynum to get him going, Bynum is a guy that goes with the flow of the game so he doesn't need to do that sh!t. He needs to take his own shots.

Also I sure as hell hope the Lakers put in the effort and take this. They're lucky they got this win. But if they lose this series I'll never hear the end of it... my gf's from Colorado. GO LA GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES!!

ESPN has the worst commentating crew. I can only listen to the commentary if its tnt. If its not then the tv is on mute.

Damn, I thought the Nuggets had it, but the bad foul by Martin, and the careless inbounds by Carter cost them the game. Melo definately opened my eyes though. I haven`t had much oppurtunity to see him play during the season, and he played outstanding defense on Kobe. He was all over him. and even though Kobe scored 40, Melo scored 39 of his own. What a game, and it`s only the 1st of the series. Even though the outcome wasn`t how I would`ve wanted. It was still a great game.

Did you watch that sac vs lal 2002 series. Or look at the heat vs mavs finals or you can even go that game where dallas lost to denver on that huge missed call.
Don't care. Professional sports aren't rigged. Period. This isn't WWE.

Pau still had his "Gasoft" moments, but he outrebounded Kenyon and Nene combined.
and he really showed up in the 4th quarter. clutch defense and made key free throws

game 2 is a must win for L.A. though
idk how they'll win in Denver

lmao, Barkley saying that he would put Stockton at the PG. All-time list btw. And then they ask why he had Mchale and he said he forgot Duncan, lol.

Thats why you build around Chauncey. All the Pistons needed was another scorer who could prevent those dry runs by the Pistons. Chauncey is arguably a top 5 pg in the league and that is very hard to find.

If the Pistons would have kept Chauncey, the Pistons win 50, easy.
