The Braves just announced that they are calling up our 2nd best pitching prospect to start on Tuesday, I'm really pumped up for it.

This is just a suggestion, but what if people actually started making threads more often instead of this one HUGE thread? I think people would be able to access the issues they wish to discuss instead of searching through this enormous thread. Just a suggestion.

Rumors and such do go under their separate threads. This is for the games during the season. And besides more attention is divided to this thread than any other due to the sole reason that people care about that days game. If you have noticed I have made team threads for the more popular teams on this board; mets, yankees, blue jays, and red sox. If you go on their own individual threads you will see news and rumors for that respective team.

Right, I gotcha. I didn't realize that this was more of a "Gameday Thread," which is awesome. I love to discuss games as they are going on. There are tons of issues that could be debated elsewhere outside this thread, though. So I guess what I'm asking here is: would it be alright to post threads about issues around MLB, ie: The Cardinals sustaining two big outfield injuries with Ankiel and Ludwick. Do you think that would be a relevant enough issue to post a thread on? I'm not trying to get under anyone's skin. I'm just kind of feeling my way around here right now.

Yea sure go ahead, Im the mod for this area and I am very open to suggestions on how to make the mlb forums more efficient and informative.

That would be a good example of a thread that wouldnt belong in this thread, the cardinals having injuries is news related and its relevant.

Well would you look at that, the Royals in second in the AL Central and on a six game losing streak. All downhill from here on in for KC, but we'll help you guys out by winning this series against the Twins.

Sizemore hit a lead off homer to start the game, and then DeRosa had an RBI single, so a 2-0 lead. Victor got a hit in the first inning as well so he is now batting over .400.

Gabe Gross robs Matt LaPorta of a double with the bases loaded.. What a great catch, but its a sac fly so 5-0.

But yea, that was an amazing play.

Wow, DeRosa clearly scores but the ump called DeRosa out, even though he went right under the catcher before he had the ball. Wedge came out and started screaming at the ump, got tossed from the game.
