I don't think saying your going to win in any Santana start is being a homer. Lowe hasn't really pitched that well this year after his first 2 starts. I'll be satisfied if we're 1-1 going into the Reyes/Neise game where anything is possible. Jair has been our best pitcher and his only problem has been the long ball so I think he'll love Citi Field.

If we had a manager worth a damn we might be able to beat Santana but we won't see Kelly in there because it's a LHH v. LHP even though he's one of the best in the league in that situation. Plus we need all the lefties we can get to take away Johan's changeup.
I think thats what makes this series opener so critical for us is that Jair has been lights out and he needs to get some serious consideration for the ASG. Get ready for a pitchers duel cuz the ball isnt leaving our park much tonight, lol.

Pitchers park + 2 great pitchers= 1-0 game, lol watch it end up being like 7-5.

Casey Blake <3
he is officially a DODGER
1-3 without Manny, and lost the series against the Giants. I dont think that is the appropriate time to showboat especially considering its a tribute to his father. Do the Giants want any more reason to beat the Dodgers?

I think Blake will apologize, but thats just me.

Dodgers were down 5-4 in the 12th
He hit a HR to tie the game and blow Wilson's save, with 2 outs I believe

at the time it was awesome.
and yeah we're 1-3 without Manny, but thats not on him IMO.
we're only averaging like .2 less runs per game during those games. It's the pitching that has been killing us. bullpen more specifically

I think its the wrong thing to do, Im hoping that Blake didnt know that his form of "showboating" was a tribute to his father and his faith.

I haven't been this pumped for a baseball game in forever, it feels like a playoff game.

1-0 Braves. Thats what you get when you dont have a true 1B who can get those 1 hops.

Eric Wedge is a prick, for whatever reason he REFUSES to play LaPorta. We are in last place, I want to look forward to watching something on this team. Oh and Choo with an RBI single, 1-0, and now DeRosa with a double, 2-0.

Well that may be the only run we get. I'm glad we made Johan throw 27 pitches, that's key.

What a coincidence, that's exactly what I said when I saw the lineup. I'd rather have players that have testicles.
Are you saying Prado doesnt have testicles? lol. Lowe got through the inning quickly.

No I'm saying that Larry doesn't he sits out a week with a hang nail. He's the most overrated player in baseball.
lol, oh damn Derek Lowe. I have never heard so much animosity towards Chipper coming from a Braves fan.

Santana needs to finish this inning off quickly.

That's because most Braves fans like our management live in the past. i.e signing Tom Glavine. Don't worry we aren't scoring anymore, Lowe is going to have to go 9 scoreless.
