Cuban Confronts Kenyon's Mom?

The NBA is reviewing a postgame confrontation between Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and the mother of Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin.

The incident took place as Cuban walked off the court following Saturday's controversial loss to Denver.

Cuban referred to Martin as a "thug" or a "punk," according to The Denver Post.

He's going to get beat down by a player if he keeps thinking he's a god or somehing.

Yeah that was pretty classless, but when you look at how Martin acts, it wouldnt be surprising if he got it from his mother, to be fair we dont know exactly what happened.

But regardless, Cuban shouldnt have said anything to her.

Kenyon wont, he knows that his team needs him. Right now Lakers/Rockets could go to any team, and the Nuggets have a good chance at beating both. If he does anything stupid it will mess that chance up.

Cuban is a p***y. At first I thought it was cool to see an owner that carried the image of an average joe. T & jeans, sitting courtside, bad haircut...you know. Overtime, the guy has proven that his exterior is a joke & he's really no different than any other pompous a-hole on the planet.

I used to love the Mavs when Jason Kidd & Steve Nash were coming up but now I hate them solely b/c of Mark Cuban & his antics.

Yes, you got screwed out of a call, ish happens Mark. You know what my solution to you & your team is? Don't lose a 6 point lead in under a minute & have to rely on an intentional foul in order to win.

I think the ESPN First Take guys put it real well this morning when they said he was the geeky smart kid in school who always got picked on and now he's just taking it out on everyone. Personally I think calling Kenyon Martin a "Thug" is a little racist. If he didn't have all the tattoos and stuff no one would be calling him that. He's just a hard nosed defensive player. Those kinds of players win championships, Cuban is just jealous that all of his players are soft and can't stand up to the physicality.

I wasn't calling him racist, because he wasn't the one that started the "Thug" chant, he was just agreeing with them. I don't want to get into race, didn't really mean to bring it up, but I don't see people calling Chris Andersen a "Thug".

I love Cuban, I love what he symbolizes and I love what he does. Not just the NBA, but other sports teams need owners who care about their team so much, and actually love their team, not just "list" that they own a team along with 20 other billion things on their resume, and sitting in their press boxes.

I love how the Mavs used to get criticized for NEVER showing emotion and being weak. I think that's changed or it should.

Tonight is game 4, and the Mavs aren't just going to bow out after what has happened in this series. I'd be okay if we lose tonight, but we take someone out. IDGAF anymore, the NBA will catch a blow to the head that doesn't impact the game but won't catch a foul with the game on the line.

It's better then sitting in your suite and not giving a damn. What would every other owner have done in the NBA? Not given even a statement because they were out in France having fine dine with other billionaires. His team just got hosed, and not only cost us the game, but the series, and not just the series, the season. How big of a difference is there between 2-1 and 3-0? HUGE, I'd be pissed to. I love how Mark composed himself. Plus, the NBA who you guys are all praising about the call saying the refs did the right thing, well that same NBA said Cuban did nothing wrong.

Pistons have no room to talk for the next 10-15 years still after the brawl and a team with sheed.

I think most of the people on here hate the Pistons because of the fans, but if we took a lie detector test. I swear the Mavs and Celtics would be really close to most hated teams hated on SI.

I seriously would love to see what would happen if this happened to the Pistons or the Lakers or another large fan base on SI.
