WOW, the Rays are terrible. Man on third with 0 outs, Boston's up by 1 and Papelbon manages to get three guys to chase a high fastball. That was embarrassing. The Rays suck.

This feels like a broken record everyday.....

"Jays will make the playoffs."

"No they wont."

"Yes they will, Cito Gaston is the greatest."

"No yankees are getting A-rod back and we will dominate."

Johan has been the best pitcher in the NL this year and that is saying a lot since he is a 2nd half pitcher. Santana has a 2.45 ERA against the Braves, but Chipper, Kelly, and Diaz are batting .435 or something like that.

I trully hate sounding like a homer, but we are really hot right now and so is the offense. At the same time last time we faced Lowe he gave up like 7 runs in 4 innings. He might want revenge for making a horrible contract offer this offseason.

I say 2-1 mets with the bullpen's being the deciding factor.

I don't think saying your going to win in any Santana start is being a homer. Lowe hasn't really pitched that well this year after his first 2 starts. I'll be satisfied if we're 1-1 going into the Reyes/Neise game where anything is possible. Jair has been our best pitcher and his only problem has been the long ball so I think he'll love Citi Field.

If we had a manager worth a damn we might be able to beat Santana but we won't see Kelly in there because it's a LHH v. LHP even though he's one of the best in the league in that situation. Plus we need all the lefties we can get to take away Johan's changeup.
