From nbc sports
About two hours after the game, the league office announced that Wright was right. In a brief statement, NBA president Joel Litvin said, “At the end of the Dallas-Denver game this evening, the officials missed an intentional foul committed by Antoine Wright on Carmelo Anthony, just prior to Anthony’s 3-point basket.”

The Nuggets can consider themselves lucky to be close enough to get saved by a controversial finish.

tbh how hawt is 2:25 on?

Cuban shoving camerman, JH5 and Antoine <3.

We're down 3-0 and done, so I would have done something to get suspended.

As the fans were leaving, ESPN didn't show it, but fans started throwing stuff on the court.

well, if Dallas wouldn't have let Denver back into the game in the last quarter, this wouldn't even be discussed.

Don't blame the refs - blame the team for collapsing once again

I agree with jarrod, this was just another classic choke job by the Mavericks. I thought they would have sealed it with a minute left, but they just don't have what it takes to win a championship.

That was a pretty weak attempt at a foul... I wouldn't have called that.

When you let a team that missed 15 of its first 17 shots, a team that never trailed by more than six even with their offensive struggles, a team whos big men struggled bad with one of them fouling out in only 11 minutes... and you let that team make a come back on your own court... you don't deserve to win anyway.

Besides you never assume the refs are going to call a foul in playoff atmosphere in crunch time. Historically the whistles are already down the refs throats. Try playing some defense, don't throw your hands up in the air like an idiot when you only THINK that the refs were gonna call it.

Besides, the Mavs had 1 second to hit a 2. And they chose not to get a quality shot.

lol @ you guys.

jarrod- the mavs choked? the mavs were never up by more then 6 in the game, more or less then the 4th quarter. the mavs never choked.

vc15- go back to watching your new york sports because that's all you have knowledge about.

bks- what did you want him to do, <Censored>ing throw him to the <Censored>ing ground?

rip- 1 second to get a good shot? when we already got cheated? k

i swear the hatred for the mavs on this board is off the rail. even when the mavs get hosed you guys treat it like its nothing. If it were the Pistons the fans would <Censored>ing flip out

I really don't think it matters at all, the Mavs had no chance in this series even with that win..

Quit whining about it, it happened. Look forward to a shake-up to your roster and compete next year.

no chance? this series should be 2-1 with us having the momentum making that comeback in the 4th, and having game 4 at home

The Mavs had their own struggles.....the whole game was sloppy because the Refs called nearly an nba playoff record 61 fouls, a game that was extremely chippy...

Rick Carlisle, before the play, told the refs he had a foul to give, and they were going to use it. But apparently the refs wanted us to stab Carmelo and rip his heart out and sell it to terrorists like Bennett Salvatore (btw he's a worthless person in society).

While still playing the hottest team in the league minus the Cavs, and not having home court advantage.
