Red Sox get their first win of many in the new Yankee stadium. 4-0 against the Yanks this season. SOO sweet.

This Yankee team has no identity, what else is new?

I figured playing w/o A-Rod for a month would force this team to take on an identity that revolves a hell of a lot less on his bat. It is no apparent to me that the Yankees need A-Rod more than ever.

As far as pitching is concerned, what the hell is it going to take to put Joba back in the pen? This kid was electric in the 8th inning once but is now mediocre as a starter.

Dodgers 11-0 at home.
First NL team in the modern era to do that > _>
(1900 and 12 in a row is the record set in 1911)

we got the DBacks again tomorrrow and then another mini 2 game series vs. the Nats

btw AE, I think instead of Grammy winner it should say Oscar winner.
Grammy's are the music awards and Oscars, or Academy Awards, are the movies

Damn it I just looked at the all-time stats mets-dodgers and we have practically tied for last 9 years, with a mets series win and dodgers series win in between.....

I am sick and tired of this piece of <Censored> the Indians call a bullpen. If our bullpen was any where near good, we'd easily be the best team in the league. They can't hold a single game. Unless our starters go 8 innings, we basically lose every game.

Man our bullpen needs to get it back together. We almost blew a series.

Ive looked at your schedule, August is your key month. A lot of tough series, if you get through August in 1st, I think you'll win the division. Check the schedule.

I guess it was a battle of struggling bullpens lol, even though the Jays have had a pretty good bullpen from what I remember, ours has been terrible all year.

Actually our bullpen was fire until we met up with you guys. I don't know what happened.

If we can play like we have been so far and Rios picks up his play I have no doubt that we can keep an above 500 record in august. But I gotta agree with you, our only break is the Baltimore and Tampa series'.

I think we can beat Boston, we're actually really good against Boston based off last season and others. We are facing the Yankees soon, so if we can win that series, I think we will be able to compete.

Well, I'd say our batting is one of the best in the Majors which made the Jays struggle, our bullpen is just that bad, causing us to be on the bottom.

I hope that's the case because I don't want to see our bullpen struggling. Then again Cito brought in some pretty <Censored>ty relievers.

yeah, he hasn't been himself the last couple of starts :(

It seems like everyone has gotten worse on the pitching staff since they've realized what Greinke is doing.
