Good news for the Lions. What I don't understand is I'm pretty sure the Lions made an offer but claimed the price was to high for Foote. So why didn't the Steelers just take a lowball offer?PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The Steelers have officially released Larry Foote.
Foote, a linebacker, had originally asked the Steelers to trade him.
They tried, but were unsuccessful.
Steelers GM Kevin Colbert said in a statement: "Larry has been a big part of our success but unfortunately the realities of the salary cap made this decision inevitable. We wish Larry and his family nothing but the best as he moves forward with his career."
