AND THE SAVIOR IS HERE!!!!!!!!

Haha, just kidding. I hope he doesn't start right away. And that he lives up to potential. Can't wait to see him play now.

Haha, well it is more interesting. But we didn't want a holdout, ala the Radiers and Russell.

i really wanted Curry
he was willing to take as much or less than Jake Long made last year
but i agree with Rip, Culpepper should start for us this season until Stafford proves otherwise

Well people compared Stafford to Cutler I believe. Which I wouldn't mind at all.

It would be like 41.7 million for Cutler basically haha.

it's 41.7 guaranteed!!! he could make even more.

I honestly think that Stafford isn't a #1 QB.. shoulda taken the OL and then picked up a good QB to develop in the 2nd or 3rd.. but, for naught

that's just horrible. to guarantee someone 11mil more than last year's #1 is crazy.

but, this IS the Lions we're talking about

That's stupid, they should've drafted Jason Smith. Daunte Culpepper would've done fine at QB.

Draft Jason Smith, then get another #1 pick next year and take Colt McCoy/Sam Bradford

its at a point where draft picks should have a salary cap for the first year, all first rounders get the same 2nd rounders and so on, thats a bull<Censored> amount to give someone who hasnt played a game yet

True but I guess its a way to make a statement to show who your franchise players are.

But if they bust, all that money is a waste

So now the Rams are on the clock. They need some O-linemen, and a D.

I'm not as worried for this pick. Millen isn't the one making it..

Ya'll keep forgetting we have 3 picks for the first 33 picks.
We got our franchise QB (I hope), and now we build for the rest of the draft.

Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will the Lions.
