It's obvious who the best pitcher in MLB is...

Wait for it...

No you didn't..... that sentence doesn't point that out.....and yes, I'd rather have Greinke over them right now. Greinke is the best pitcher in baseball so far this season. IDK what your personal grudge is against Greinke though. 20 scoreless innings with only 1 less K then Johan Santana.

Because right now, if I had to choose ANY pitcher in baseball, right now in this season, at this second, judging by this season, to be the best...I wouldn't pick Greinke.

Stats don't tell the entire story. Who has he even faced?

Indians, White Sox, Rangers. Not bad teams....

BTW, jw; who would you pick? Aside from a Giants pitcher of course.

Rangers (2nd best offense in the AL, he shut them out for 9 innings, K'd 10)
Indians (6th best offense in the AL, IDK if that is before or after the 22 runs today...)
White Sox (2nd worst offense so far)

So 2 great offenses

Johan would be the best IMO

look beyond ERAs and Ws, lfor example WHIP. Also, look at his overall play

Never said Greinke isn't good but right at this second I'd take Johan

The same Kyle Davies who has a career 5.52 ERA?

Just throwing something out there;

Sunday against the powerful Rangers lineup that has done well against him in the past to the tune of a .329 batting average in four starts. Davies is 0-3 with a 5.89 ERA in those games.

You can't look at what Davies career is. Look at what he has done since last September. And this year he's been amazing.

September= 4-1, 2.27 ERA, 31.2 IP
So far this year= 12.2 IP, 1-0, 13 K, 2.18 ERA

He's totally different from where he was just a year ago too.

But your calling him a stud SP, lol. I just think the Rangers have his number. We'll see tomorrow.

Joe Torre better keep Andre in front of Manny
he's a beast hitting in front of manny.

look at him today, his first game in front of manny this season, 2 homers 4 rbi

last season too he was the best, one of the best hitters in baseball. he won player of the month in september last year

He's getting stuff to hit. They'd rather pitch to Andre than to Manny with a man on.

i disagree, Greinke has more talent and nasty stuff, there's a reason he was regarded as one of the top prospects in baseball when he came out. And he has been a stud since he came back. He has 4 nasty piches
