2009 Draft Lottery Odds Released

This year’s lottery will be held toward the end of the second round on May 19. Remember, only the first three picks are determined by ping pong balls. The remainder of the “lottery teams” will be placed in positions 4 through 14 based on record. Stu Jackson made the record tie-breaks via random drawings this morning.

When is the last time the team with the best odds actually won the lottery?

Almost positive the Nuggets had the best chances to get #1 in the 03 draft, and the Bobcats were an expansion team in the Dwight draft, so didn't they have the best chances?

Cleveland and Denver were both tied, but cleveland had te tie breaker and best odds
Orlando also had the best odds, but i think they could have been tied with charlotte i'm not sure

I want washington to get number 1. Can you imagine blake,antawn,hibachi and caron and nick young on the same team.

The Nets are already looking to contend for the playoffs next year even without a top three pick.
