lol, im not even gonna respond. watch the replay. there was 18 seconds left, the mavs missed a shot or made one didn't matter, we didn't even show effort because we thought you guys were do what any normal team does and dribble it up and end the game, there was no shot clock. And ooo, 4 seconds, 10 point game, yeah, we do what most teams do in that situation, just let the time run out. we did what any normal team does.

And our team has our head on straight, we're playing our best basketball of the season right now.

the rest of the post im not even gonna respond to be because i cant answer with a straight face
Stop your <Censored>in whining, jesus christ. Stop talking about "respect", NOBODY CARES, it is all about winning, not making butt buddies. You would think a fan of a team that is owned by Mark Cuban would know that. Don't tell me the Mavs thought the Hornets would dribble out the clock, the Mavs quit, you should be pissed about that, PERIOD. Cry me a fricken river. The Mavs would have done the exact thing in that situation.

I thought you would find this funny:

#3, what do the Mavs no about basketball in June? Oh yeah, choking away the big one.

#4, then why did the Mavs walk off the court with the 3 seconds left, the clock running, and the ball bouncing? The first time a team finished off a team with a late, unnecessary basket? Yeah, bull****, bra.

#5, we need to check the clock. I felt confident there was over 24. Not sure. I think Sul dunked with over 14 left. Again, someone with tape needs to double check it. Wish I had it.

#6, I like Dirk Diggler. He is doing the best he can. I only wish he could figure out a double-team.

#7, wow, I am awed. One of the wealthiest owners in the game, and they still have ZIP to show for it. Maybe they'd like to throw New Orleans' own Avery Johnson under the bus - again.

#8, the Lakers are a classy org? Oh, ok. That must be a first in the WC. Everyone in the WC hates the Lakers, possibly excepting us since we don't feel like our **** is small compared to Los Angeles.

#9, we did win. In the only playoff series we ever played against Dallas, we handed them their asses. The Mavs are the little girls who left the court in a pouting stink today. lol Dude obviously doesn't know crap about basketball or how to research something before opening his mouth. Hornets have been in the playoffs 10 times alread, 3 as the New Orleans Hornets, 7 as the CLT Hornets, and they will be in the playoffs come later this week, for a grand total of 11 times. Last time I looked, 11 was more than 9, or perhaps the queers and steers of Texas don't know much math.
Notice #9. The Hornets have now been to the playoffs 11 times in 20 seasons, for a grand total of 55%. The Mavs on the other hand, have been to the playoffs 15 times in 28 seasons, for a grand total of 53%. So that comment you made earlier has been proved completely wrong.

I can't stand people who freakin whine, especially about something as stupid as respect. The fact that you think Terry running up and down the court like a jet or Brandon flexing everytime he scores when his team is up by 18 or 19 isn't classless tells me all I need to hear.

How about the last 10 years, and have the Hornets ever made the NBA Finals? lol, and you really need to be quiet about that top part because it was the Hornets who did the disrespectful and unnomral thing, the Mavs did what any normal team would do in the situation.

WTF do other teams do when your down 10 with 4 seconds left

I'm done with that though. I'm not gonna argue with someone who thinks when it's an 8 point game with 15 seconds to go and your team has the ball, that it's normal and alright for your team to throw the ball ahead and dunk it. And then say we give up. lol, you must not watch much basketball, that happens every time.

Last 10 years, 9-7. Considering what the Hornets went threw for 2 seasons, that is a good number.

Have the Mavs ever won the NBA Finals? Didn't think so. If there is one thing I hate more than whiners, it is people that hang their hats on the fact that they lost the championship. Does anyone remember who lost in the Finals or the SuperBowl? I doubt it.

You talking about the Mavs walking off the court after Suals dunk with 14 seconds and not even acknowledging the other team? Normal teams don't do that. Normal teams have a pair and congratulate the winner, and that includes the HC. They don't walk off the court with 14 seconds left in the game. And you want to talk about classless? I've seen the scoring when the game is already one thousands of times (happens to the Hornets weekly it seems like), but never have I seen a team give up like the Mavs did today. Walk off the court like the wimps and prima donnas they have proven themselves to be.

I'm not going to argue with someone that acts like a little pu$$y like you have since the game. Hornets win, nothing wrong with what they did.

Move on, stop whining.

But I will finish this argument off like I should have started it.

All I have to say is:

Did he get called for a technical foul for unsportsmanlike conduct?

Is he going to get fined by the league?

Then, obviously it's a non-issue. In professional sports, whatever happens within the white lines and rules that govern the game is all fair play. Don't like it? Do something about it... DURING THE GAME. Don't walk off the court like prima donnas and pout. Otherwise, it isn't even worth discussing.

Also, I love the way internet sports arguements always involve the word "classy," as if we are all top-hatted, white-gloved gentlemen who actually think that being found "unclassy" is an insult worthy of dueling to the death over. Huh?

lol at the mavs giving up, we missed a shot, we were down 8 with 15 seconds to go, it was pointless to extend the game, so we thought you guys were gonna dribble over half court and stay there, and end the game, then we congratulate, that's how it goes. But after we missed the shot you guys tossed the ball up for a dunk. Then we just inbounded and went up to midcourt and let the ball go and left. You guys didn't deserve to be respected after that unclassy move was pulled

Man please, if something like that effects the Mavs they have no business being in the Playoffs. Or pro sports for that matter. Yall obviously have bigger problems than the human eye can see.

The Mavs had their minds made up, dunk or no dunk they weren't sending congrats the Hornets way. It is just the kind of team they are.

If you have ever played or coached basketball, you would know you play the full 48 minutes like your life depends on it. You don't walk off the court with 14 seconds left in the game. That there, is pathetic.

I think that both of you are over blowing the situation. First of all that dunk was pointless and no one does that in basketball. They usually chuck up a three or just let the clock run out. Second of all the mavs dont like the Hornets and the Hornets dont like the mavs so no surprise there that they didnt shake hands, even though I think the mavs shouldve done the right thing and showed respect and shaken hands.

No they don't chuck up a 3, there was 18 seconds on the shot clock when they got the ball, the Mavs knew the game was over, and so did the Hornets, but they intended on being a-sses

Cry me a frickin river. Like I said earlier Sual was called for unsportsmanlike conduct, he won't be fined or suspended, everything that happened was fair play. End of story. The fact that you take pride in your team walking off the court like a bunch of sissy's tells me all I need to know. Just like Frontpage said. Now THAT is unclassy.
