He too could average what Dirk averages, but he doesnt because he knows its a detriment to his team.
He's a better passer, rebounder, WAY better defender in general. And he's not that far behind Dirk in terms of being a scorer.

yeah, but i feel bad for kidd. he's done what he's supposed to to. I mean yesterday was the hawtest mavs game to watch in a LONG time. Plus Kidd is mentoring Barea

You know and I know that Kidd doesnt give a crap anymore. Hes old and especially in basketball you need youth. We need Barea to speed up the tempo, we dont need those flashy passes. We need speed like a Tony Parker type. It opens the floor for guys like Terry and Howard for mid-range game.

We NEED to get out of that 8th spot in the West. I really want to face the Nuggets.

I agree with everything except for the part about Kidd not caring. I think he cares, he's always been like that, this is Dirk's team, and so he isn't the face like he was in New Jersey. But I still think he cares very much so. He just is really chill all the time.

"I could sit and watch from the bench," Kidd said. "[LeBron] is so talented, he's going to get guys wide open shots. So we'll look at free agency and what happens for me next year."

He is GONE after this year.
