I guess I'll start this back up by asking another question.

What year did Nolan Ryan become the first pitcher to throw faster than 100 MPH?

Nobody would know without looking it up.

And as far as I know, he wasn't the first to throw 100.

hmm... lets see.... I know he threw 100 mph way into his 40's. The Guiness Book of World Records says 1974 and that would still be the record. But I say that it is debatable and believe he did it in 1972.

I couldn't find the answer to that question. I knew I had it somewhere, but I lost it sorry. But I'm pretty sure it was White, so I'm giving you the point anyways because this was a wicked hard question that no one answered. Now Balla, you have to ask a question and let someone else answer.

Score Is:
Baggino - 8
Dice-J - 4
Yankees2772 - 4
Chief Wahoo - 4
Jarrod23223 - 3
Marcum28 - 2

Who was the first MLB player to have his number retired?
ANSWER:

Ah, now this one is easy for most Yankee fans.

Lou Gehrig's #4 was retired by the team during his 1939 retirement ceremony. A memorable day in Yankee history b/c it was the end of the line for one most phenomenal players the game ever saw but it was the beginning of a huge fight against his disease.

NEW QUESTION:

Who holds the record for most grand slams in a career? Bonus points to name the 4 players that follow.

if it's not Wilhelm, my guess would be Eck...but that shouldn't count if it was him because he was also a starter.
