LOL at espn talking all this <Censored> on TO not having teams interested and now my dude TO is caking up for another year.
Lol. When did they say noone would sign him? Obviously someone was.LOL at espn talking all this <Censored> on TO not having teams interested and now my dude TO is caking up for another year.
Yeah so does half the world lol.Im just saying they made it like TO is a drug user and a chris brown type of cat. When he's really not. He's controversial and doesnt know when to shut the hell up but bspn makes it like he's the anti christ.
Beatuiful post AE lol. What interesting is the fact that T.O. is looked at as this huge "locker room cancer"...when in fact every Dallas Cowboy interviewed has said nothing but praise towards Owens. Matter of fact, I have yet to hear 1 former teammate question his work ethic and leadership.
Does he have an ego? Hell yes. Is he all about himself? Sure.
I will say though, you cannot call it a successful career without a ring and I believe that T.O. will do whatever he has to do in order to get a ring. He's done and said things that were completely unfavorable towards coaches and teammates. He's created himself an image that is negative in so many ways. He is under constant scrutiny from the media.
Will all that said...listen to this...T.O. in Buffalo will work.
We all know what he can do on the field and all we question is whether his attitude & actions off the field make him worth while. Well I already covered what some of his former teammates have said about him...and I am going to assume that T.O.'s teammates in Buffalo will feel the same. I think that T.O. is going to step up and really become a leader of this young team.
Philly had McNabb, Dallas had Romo, Barber, a defense, etc. But what's different about Buffalo is the fact that Buffalo is going to be all eyes on Terrell...and we know that is exactly how Terrell likes to live. Unlike the Eagles & Cowboys, Terrell is going to be "the guy" for the Bills and everyone will be depending on him to put up the points.
Terrell Owens works out for the Bills b/c he is the center of attention both on-the-field and off.
"Leader" and "T.O." go about as well together as "Hitler" and "humanitarian" do.I know see what ego's he could clash with here. The Bills are a quiet team. There is no leader on this team as AE said. TO is now the leader.
I'm confident enough to step up and bet that T.O. in Buffalo isn't nearly the 'train wreck' that you think he's going to be. Even if you look at T.O.'s track record, things don't start to implode off-the-field until after at least 1 year...and how long did the Bills sign him for?"Leader" and "T.O." go about as well together as "Hitler" and "humanitarian" do.
True, but it's never had the chance to implode before a year was up. His first year in San Fran went well. His first year in Philly went well. Things went downhill after that.I'm confident enough to step up and bet that T.O. in Buffalo isn't nearly the 'train wreck' that you think he's going to be. Well I hope his expectations for winning in Buffalo aren't the same as they were in Philly or Dallas...because we talking about the Bills here. One thing I can't see him complaining about is getting the ball. I think as long as he's on the field, Trent Edwards will be looking to him first more than Romo apparently wasn't.True, but it's never had the chance to implode before a year was up. I won't argue whether or not TO will be able to lead this Bills team because no one will know until the season starts. I do, however, believe TO's actions are a reflection of what happens on the field. When the team doesn't do well, that's when "TO is TO".
Well I've never been shot either, but I don't need to be to know it probably isn't fun. You don't need to witness everything firsthand to understand the truth. How do we know that? Neither of us has ever seen TO in the locker room and in the huddles.
Right. Because having a coach like Marv Levy is going to help. Not to mention he's got guys like Bruce Smith and Thurman Thomas as lockeroom vets. And it also helps to have a future HoF in Jim Kelly throwing him the ball too. In that nice Dome they have there in Buffalo.I'm confident enough to step up and bet that T.O. in Buffalo isn't nearly the 'train wreck' that you think he's going to be.
