The NFL’s annual Pro Bowl is coming back to Hawaii after a nearly-unanimous vote by the Hawaii Tourism Authority board, according to the Associated Press.
By a vote of 9-1, the board accepted an offer from NFL officials to return the league’s all-star game to Hawaii.
Next year’s Pro Bowl will be held in Miami a week before the Super Bowl.
According to the article, the board had rejected a pair of proposals from the NFL before approving the game going back to Hawaii in 2011 and 2012 for $4 million annually.
“Hawaii is the Pro Bowl,” Lt. Gov. James “Duke” Aiona said.

Next two Super Bowls (after next season) are in Indianapolis & Dallas, so maybe they only plan on playing it at Super Bowl sites in warm weather cities like Miami, Tampa, Phoenix & San Diego?
