How to make a nice threshold

Haven't had alot of Resources as of late, decided to make a tutorial considering how Julius/Gtown and nba_balla have been making people jizz there pants with there threshold rendered sigs/walls.

It also helps to apply a small blur before you resize it

I gotta be honest, I don't think you really needed to spend the time on a tutorial when all you have to say is add a threshold layer, apply the image and then resize it.

True. I was bored and had nothing better to do, so I did this.

when i hit ctrl t is says can not transform because the intial bounding rectangle is empty

Select the render only?
Or apply the image then try CTRL+T

i give up.. it wont let me do crtl t and when i apply the image , when i transform it, it just shows 2 cuts
