With no deal in Arizona, Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is planning to visit other teams, multiple sources told ESPN. His first stop wil be San Francisco, but it is not known how early next week he might visit.

Warner, according to a source, has been recruited by at least two teams including the 49ers. He has been in a stalemate in talks with the Cardinals for more than week.

The Cardinals have offered between $10 million and $12 million a year. Warner wants between $14 million and $16 million. Both sides have talked about a two-year deal, but a third option year might be added.

Warner had said he would play for the Cardinals next season or retire. The building frustration with his Cardinals' negotiations has him at a point where he might hit the road. Physically, he believes he can play for two more years.

This is an opportunity I can see Warner possibly lunging at, if the money was good. I know that Arizona is where he wants to be but if they aren't willing to pay him a little more than fair market value for his remaining years...he'll leave.

I wonder how hard the Cardinals are crapping their pants right now.

"Great, we get to start Lienart again!"

Wouldn't look right in a SanFran jersey imo.

But he's asking for a little to much...

Just as long as he isn`t hungover or out laying on the side of the street somewhere.

Warner wants about $15M guaranteed over a 2-year deal, something Arizona isn't willing to agree to...and I can't say I blame them.

But Michael Smith said on SportsCenter that the Cardinals aren't going to play the "well here's their offer" game & they are prepared to continue on with Matt Leinart, if need be.

I don't think the Cardinals have lost any faith on Leinart and If I were the Bidwell's, I wouldn't handle the Warner negotiations any differently.
