KW2 has gotta be gleaming after this deal. I know he really didn't want to be in Cleveland.

From Adam Schefter's blog
Tampa Bay just completed a trade for tight end Kellen Winslow for undisclosed draft picks.

“The Cleveland Browns thank Kellen for his contributions to this organization over the past five years,” said Browns General Manager George Kokinis. “We appreciate his passion for the game and wish him success in Tampa Bay. The draft picks we have obtained through this deal will give us greater flexibility as we look to infuse more talent and create competition and depth on this football team.”

dam, i was just gonna post this, haha.

Huge trade for them. I dont get it, i mean, if I was gonna have Quinn starting I'd like to have Winslow there.

Good trade. Honestly don't know how much longer Winslow will last with all his injury problems. He has all the talent in the world, but he is a hot head and has knee problems. And we'll need the picks.

Great move for Tampa. Winslow is a great TE, one of the best in the NFL.

I'm pretty happy with the pick up. I'm glad we didn't waste our time with Haynesworth.

I can't agree with "wasting our time with Haynesworth" at all.

After watching him anchor our defense this past year this man changes the whole offensive gameplan. He makes the other defensive lineman look good because he is double teamed every game and some times triple teamed.

Why not?

You had a (once) amazing DE, and Vanden-Bosh.

In four years are Tenn; Vanden had 35.5 sacks, and missed half of last season.
Kearse; only had 3.5, but he is downgrading in his career.

A DT has two jobs; not getting put on his back, and push the center on passing plays. Not since Sapp, has a DT been an amazing pass rusher.

Look at Haynesworth, he has played good in his last two seasons, yes; before that he had only 9.5 sacks and three FF. Recently; 14.5 sacks.

I question his consistency, and his ability to keep getting better with age. But the main point of this post is, no DT is worth 100 mill. Maybe Sapp, but only because he had four season with over 10 sacks. Haynesworth has zero.

Winslow is a good TE, and has been off lately, but that wotn last for long, and Tampa will witness the better half of it.
