Havent found a source, but someone i know heard on a Tampa Radio Station that he was traded for the #19 pick and next seasons #2 pick.
Trade is pending a 4 year 29M contract to be signed.

If true though, I would love it. First they bring in a head case that will run down a locker room (the TE version of TO) and now they trade their first this season and second next season for a unproven QB?

BREAKING NEWS : Tampa Bay TV Station FOX 13 is reporting BUCS are finalizing contract extention talks with MATT CASSEL . BUCS and PATS have agreed on DEAL pending CASSEL CONTRACT SIGNING ( 4 years -29.5 million plus performance incentives ) . Buc 's official confirms deal is for Buc's 2009 1st round selection ( 19th overall ) and 2010 conditional 2nd rounder.

If this is true, I guess you can say I'll be rooting for him if I can get to see Bucs on TV. Luv Pats, and I guess the Bucs could be considered one of my fav teams that are not the Pats, if this deal is true (don't see why someone would make this up)

I've talked to alot of Buc fans and they said this is a trade that has been discussed.

They all seem to believe this trade is on the table, but has not been agreed on.
