Apparently nobody ever uttered the phrase "beggers cannot be choosers" to Julius Peppers. The Panthers' All-Pro DE still wants out of Carolina...however according to a recent reports, Peppers will only accept a trade to 4 hand picked teams.
An anonymous source close to Peppers cites that Dallas is the defensive star's top destination.
If Peppers' specific trade demands are true then trading him just became that much harder for the Panthers. Most likely seeking out a #1 pick for Peppers, the Panthers can't rely on Dallas to provide one, (being that they have none this off-season), and the other 3 teams on his list are believed to be top contenders without high selections.
A new contract would have to be negotiated with Peppers also, prior to the completion of any trade. Certainly having a very narrow list of teams Peppers' is willing to play does not make this an easy task. -AE
