Star-Ledger - The Jets could be interested in cornerback Chris McAlister, who was released by the Ravens on Monday.

The secondary is one of New York's biggest positions of need and new coach Rex Ryan is intimately familiar with McAlister, a first-round pick in 1999 by the Ravens.

Like I said, I believe McAlister still has some juice left in him, and if wherever he ends up, he will show just how much he has left.

Uh, he has nothing left... He is pretty much done, he would be ineffective.

We`ll see. People thought Frerotte, & K. Collins had nothing left, and they did pretty good. People thought Favre had nothing left, and he got the Jets a game away from the playoffs, granted he collapsed the last 5 games, but still. Some guys can suprise you, and I think McAlister is one of those guys. I know QB is a lot different than CB, S, or WR, but I think he will suprise some people.
