CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Bobcats sent struggling forward Adam Morrison and reserve Shannon Brown to the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday for forward Vladimir Radmanovic.

The move is the third trade the Bobcats have made this season in a roster shakeup under first-year coach Larry Brown.

Morrison was the third overall pick of the 2006 draft and managing partner Michael Jordan's first major move since buying into the Bobcats. But Morrison had failed to crack the starting lineup and his minutes had declined under Brown.

Morrison will give the Lakers an outside shooting threat, while the 6-foot-10 Radmanovic gives the Bobcats more depth up front.
<3 Vlad was worthless anyways. Good trade for both teams. We also get an extra guard which is a plus. Shanon torched us a few weeks ago
And Adam Morrison is my homie <3<3<3

Good trade IMO, I haven't heard much about Jesus this year anyway, But maybe he will play better in LA

Ammo in La. I think phil can get some production from him. I really like the getting shannon brown part of the deal. He's one of the top athletes in the league. I think he will get a shot to prove himself now.

Another thing about this trade. Its basiocally cap motivated.

The Lakers get out from under Radmanovic’s long-term contract, which will help them manage future payroll and retain Trevor Ariza, who will be the top offseason priority. Lamar Odom could possibly be more likely to be re-signed at a lesser salary, too.

Morrison has just next season — at $5.26 million — left on his contract and has youth on his side if the Lakers in the next one-plus season can begin to tap into the talent that made him the third overall pick in the 2006 draft. Radmanovic’s five-year, $30 million deal signed in July 2006 has two additional seasons after this one.

there was this kid in my gym class that looked like adam morrison's twin brother when he had long hair
on a serious note, i think the lakers win this one by a bit
its mostly for cap but shannon is decent and ammo is probably as good as vlad

AMMO is just as useless as Vlade is. From a basketball POV the only part I like about this deal is Shannon Brown who's probably not going to get a lot of time anyway. Strictly a business deal.

Actually now that I think about it Ammo does have potential. If Phil could bring out his potential, he could be a nice upgrade over Walton because Walton is really useless. Ammo is just as smart a player, just as slow, but the difference is that he can score.

lol remember how Morrison was the next Larry Legend?

who knows. maybe watching Kobe every day sets him off. I'm not saying he's Larry Bird, just hopefully he becomes a solid NBA player.

and one more thing. I wonder if Ear jordan will make fun of him for crying in the NCAA's :p
Farmar was on that UCLA team that made him cry

Morrison is garbage. He can't shoot for whatever reason anymore, and his defense sucks. And Shanan Brown lol, he was just a throw in. Scrub for Scrubs deal.

TYO explained it
Salary cap is the only reason we did it

we lost Vlad's contract therefore Lakers win

And I actually believe that Shannon can have an Ariza-like rebirth with us

I never said the Lakers lost. Just saying none of these players are any good, Vlad can hit 3s but his contract isn't good.

=/ Shannon has no handles and is a ball hog when he even gets the ball. Isn't as good defensively either.

Ariza couldn't shoot for <Censored> and now look at him
who knows, maybe watching guys like Kobe and Fish can set him straight?
I mean he won't play, but for his sake I'm talking
He's also gonna have Craig Hodges as his shooting coach and Brian Shaw working with him

Shannon can score a little, I won't knock him for that, but that's about all he can do.
