Chris Johnson replaced by Lynch

Bills running back Marshawn Lynch is headed to Hawaii for the 2009 Pro Bowl. The second-year back will be replacing Tennessee running back Chris Johnson, who had to pull out of the game due to a high ankle sprain suffered in the Titans playoff loss to Baltimore on Jan. 12.

Lynch, who was a first alternate, ranked fifth in the AFC in rushing in 2008 with 1,036 yards despite missing the season finale with a shoulder injury.

He’s the first Bills running back to go to the Pro Bowl since Travis Henry represented the AFC in 2002.

Well, I had Daniels on my fantasy team this year and I gotta tell ya, he had some terrific games this season, I even voted for him way back in like Week 10 when he was putting up OK performanes.

I don't think Lynch deserves to go. He was oft injured this season & did miss significant playing time. A workhorse back...but there's gotta be another back coming off a better season to take Dash's spot.

I used to watch all the time, but now, i`m more interested in the stuff that leads up to it. All the Skillz Competitions and whatnot. But I will be interested in the Pro Bowl this year because DERRICK BROOKS<3 is in it.

ya I was surprised that it was Lynch, I thought Slaton would get the nod but apparently Lynch was the 5th reserve.

He still gets credited for the selection. All he is missing is a playing a couple drives, in a game that doesn't matter, that none of us will watch anyways.
