Definately a nice move for St. Louis. I just had the feeling that Spagnuolo wasn`t staying in New York with all the vacant spots on other teams. He could help matters, but definately will need to have a good draft like Detroit, and a couple other teams to make steps in the right direction.

meh I knew Spags/Pioli was asking for too much.

Herm is still most likely out the door, but who we go after now will be up in the air, Pioli might go after a guy he knows that noone else thinks is a candidate. Probably will be someone out of hte dark like the ravens and the redskins did there coaches last year.

--NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that the St. Louis Rams have given Steve Spagnuolo a four-year, $11.5 million contract to be their next head coach.

Spagnuolo has been the Giants' defensive coordinator for the past two seasons and directed a unit that helped lead New York to a 17-14 upset of New England in Super Bowl XLII.

Damn it, Im gonna really miss you Spags. You were an awesome coordinator. Man the Giants have had sooooo many good coaches its not funny. Belichick,Fox,Spagnoulo, Parcells, and Coughlin.

Time to regroup and keep the same kind of system that Spags had in place.

The Lions have a list like that too, except it`s of bad coaches, and it is quite the long list. Schwartz will hopefully be one on the good coach side. The draft and next season will help declare that.

Oh yea and I forgot Sean Payton who was offensive coordinator for the Giants and is now Head Coach of the Saints.
