The L.A. Clippers would like to get the Zach Randolph deal signed and sealed so they can start tinkering with their lineup.

The deal, which saw Randolph and Mardy Collins arrive from New York in exchange for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley, has been delayed due to the Knicks having concerns about Mobley's heart.

Should the trade go through, according to J.A. Adande from ESPN.com, one source said the Clippers are talking to the Charlotte Bobcats about a package that would send Kaman to Charlotte for Jason Richardson. However, another Clippers' source said, "Kaman's not out there."
I wouldn't be surprised to see this go though.
Felton at the SG really has worked out for Charlotte as of late.

a guy who can average 16 points and 13 rebounds, and also blocks 3 shots a game isn't garbage mack. he is also a +21 for the clippers, which isn't the +31 cp has for the hornets, or the +30 lebron has for the cavs, but to compare it kobe is a +22 for the lakers.

that would be a great trade for the bobcats, add another young player to their front court and team with emeka okafor.

Richardson is a very good player... He lead the league in 3s last year, with just under 250 if I remember correctly... That's 3 a game.

He's a dynamic outside shooter, and he's actually got some solid low post moves for a SG. We all know about his athleticism as well.

Kaman is good, but they have Camby and Randolph... Kaman's value is high, so why not deal him? Kaman is a super good center, and would be perfect moving Emeka back to PF... It's a perfect deal both ways.

I don't like the guy but he's got a point.

Kaman is such a monster, too... What other center will give you 37 minutes a night?

Pistons need to reunite Kaman and Michigan.

But the Clips would scare me bad if they pulled this off.

This would be a good move by both teams.

Charlotte gets the low post help/offensive, LAC gets the SG they need. Ammo has played well this season, and they wouldnt miss JRich's outside shot THAT much.

I do think the Clippers would want more though...

They'd be stupid to trade Kaman. They ought to trade Camby to Charlotte instead...
