Michael Curry has revealed in an interview on Stoney & Wojo show on WDFN-1130 a.m that he will be starting Kwame Brown in place of Amir Johnson, the Detroit News is reporting.

His rationale being that he thinks Rasheed Wallace will be more productive playing alongside the bigger Brown.
Yay. I knew it would happen sooner or later. Kwame is quietly have a productive season for Detroit, good to see him starting now. Hopefully this will help Amir too, less pressure starting and use his athletism off the bench.
Also, Stuckey joined with the team, but won't play today.

Let's not start the hate remarks in this thread...?

Rip thinks anything the Pistons do is good. I'm not even going to comment here...

That's not even true...

I'm just not going to call it bad until I see it in action.

And if your "not going to comment," don't post at all.

Have you been living under a rock? I know you've seen Kwame start for LA and Washington... He's not any good.

Last time I checked we aren't LA or Washington.

History tends to repeat itself. If he wasn't good with LA or Washington, what makes you think he's going to be good for Detroit?

I wonder what you were saying about him prior to him signing with the Pistons...

You can go look at the thread of him signing here. I was happy to have him here. I even said he would start sooner or later.

He is still young and in a much different enviroment. Washington had pressure for him to start ASAP and become amazing cause he was #1 overall, LA is primetime. Detroit is a lot more "chill" he doesn't have to try to impress here.

He has been solid off the bench, the worst that can happen is he is benched again. I'm not worried.

I'm talking about before he signed with Detroit, before, like when he was in Washington or LA.

Maybe AI can kick off Kwame's offensive game.

Yea, AI always gets it to people downlow with little drop off passes.

Until Maxiell starts producing off the bench consistently, then you will now have troubles at the PF spot
